In the memory, my son Kevin is crouched beside our multi-level cat tree, playfully teasing our little kitten, Ayden, with a feather wand. Back then, Ayden was just over one year old, and Kevin was only six or seven. Under the warm sunlight streaming through the window, these two "little boys" played together in blissful harmony.
That cat tree was more than just furniture; it was the center stage for their budding friendship. It witnessed Kevin’s first gentle pats and Ayden’s first brave pounces.
Now, five or six Mays have passed. Today, Kevin is taller, Ayden is wiser, and that same cat tree—though a little worn but deeply loved—still stands as a testament to their unbreakable bond.
